Prospects Of The Abuses In Free-To-Play MMORPGI

Will MMORPGI corporations be capable of compassion in the absence of a just regulation?

Whatever form of collaboration, it doesn't change the fact that MMORPGs are provided by corporation(s). And corporations are entities that isn't human, they are not capable of compassion and has very limited appreciative memory.

Consequently, whatever entities that proffer CabalPH being online, same as other MMORPGs in the country, would hardly change the relations of the service provider and the consumers, whereby the later are always at the disadvantage and easily subjected to abuses, as microtransaction in online gaming is getting more popular.

What operates is a patent unfair relationship which is proliferated by the enforced electronic contract of adhesion and made easy in the absence of an applicable just regulation.

Corporations providing MMORPGs are not responsible to their consumers. This is obvious in their well crafted electronic contract of adhesion. They are only responsible with respect to the assets of their stockholders. Their responsibility is pure money making for their stockholders. security and risk management means safeguarding the assets and interests of their stockholders.

In fact, they can terminate an online game, anytime, without regard to whatever resources and assets the consumers have invested. Much less is the trivial concern about submitted request for just restitution in cases of compromised accounts.

However just, compassionate, effective "admins" are, their character and integrity will not spare them from either being kicked, forced to resign, or motivated to leave. Anyone who wants to last long in service to a corporation has to dance with whatever the corporation is beating.

Corporation don't have a heart and don't serve the citizens of the country. If they do some kind of charitable works, medical care, or any form of humanitarian cause, it is undoubtedly aimed to gain undue government favor, tax exemption/reduction, profile enhancement, and advertizements.

Thus, it is imperative, if it is even possible, that corporations should be strictly regulated and closely supervised.

Unfortunately, now a days, corporations control the government and the way people think; their strongest and largest conglomeration is the "government" itself; their lobbyists prioritize what legislation has to be passed; and, continually perpetuate their operations and abuses at the expense of the people, except the elite of course.

Taking a positive step towards profound reforms in MMORPGI that considers the needs and rights of it's growing Three Million consumers, never mind the Billions of annual revenue, remains a challenge to the involved corporations - that is if they are even capable of visioning about it.
